POLICIES

BOOKING POLICY

  1. New and Returning Clients must book at least 24 hours in advance.

  2. As of January 1st, 2020 a $35 deposit is required to book a full set appointment. Fill appointments and other services do not require a deposit.

  3. The price listed in the booking widget is the session fee and will be charged in full at the time of your appointment, minus the deposit of a full set.

  4. A valid debit or credit card must be on file in order to book and secure your appointment time. Valid debit or credit card must stay on file at all times until service is completed. If client wishes to secure another appointment, the card must remain on file.

  5. The card on file is not charged upon booking an appointment. We only charge the card on file in the case of last minute cancellations or no-shows.

  6. If the debit or credit card on file expires or is lost, a new valid debit or credit card must be updated in our booking system in order to secure appointments.


DEPOSITS

  1. Deposits can be paid via Venmo (@kaylajoysmith), Cashapp ($kaylajoysmith), or by Square invoice upon request. Full Set appointments will be declined if the deposit is not received within 24 hours of pending appointment request.

  2. Deposits are non-refundable for any reason. They may be transferable to one rescheduled appointment with appropriate 24 hours notice. If the appointment needs to be rescheduled a second time, a new deposit will be required to secure the new appointment. Appointments that are cancelled and not rescheduled within 30 days will forfeit their deposit.


PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

  1. Please arrive five minutes early to your appointment time.

  2. Arrive with no makeup or old makeup residue on your lashes. There is a $10 fee if we have to clean your lashes, whether a new set or a fill.

  3. Please do not bring children or pets to your appointment. 

  4. Only one additional guest is allowed in the room at the time of your service and they must be 17 years or older. 

  5. Once you arrive, make sure your phone is set to silent as to not interrupt your session.

  6. If you are a new client below the age of 18 and are receiving a lash service for the first time, your legal parent or guardian must be present to co-sign your new client forms. They will not be required to be present for future lash services. After signature and consent of appointment, the parent or guardian does not have to be present for the remainder of the appointment if they do not want to stay for the session.

  7. Avoid arriving with excessive perfumes sprayed on you or your clothing as your lash artist may become nauseous per an allergy. Excessive body odor will also not be tolerated and you may be asked to reschedule your session.

  8. You must have 40% or more lashes at your fill appointment in order for it to be considered a fill. If Client arrives with 40% or less lashes at their fill appointment, Client will be charged for a full set.


LATE POLICY

  1. Tardiness is not tolerated.

  2. If Client is 15 min or more late to appointment time, the appointment will classified as a cancellation, the card on file will be charged 100% of the appointment fee. Client will then be required to reschedule their session.

    • When you arrive late to an appointment, we cannot ensure that you will receive a complete set. And in order to give you the complete set, it would cut into the following client’s session, throwing off an entire day’s worth of appointment times. We do not offer partial sets in order to compensate for your tardiness. 

  3. If you know you will be 15 min late, please send a notification either by phone or message so that we can reschedule you.


CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. Cancellations must be made no less than 24 hours in advance.
  2. If a cancellation occurs within 24 hours of set appointment time or Client does not show up to appointment, Client's card on file will be charged 100% of the listed appointment fee.
  3. By booking your appointment time online OR pre-booking in person, you acknowledge you have read and agree to this cancellation policy.
  4. If Client makes no attempt to contact Artist that they will not be present for the appointment, Client will be charged the 100% of the service amount and Client will no longer be able to book services at our salon.
  5. If you choose to cancel and reschedule your appointment due to a Severe Weather Warning, including: Flash Flood Warning, Tornado Warning, Ice Storm or Winter Weather, or you do no feel safe driving due to valid inclement weather on the day of your appointment, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.

    PAYMENT

    1. Client does not have to use the card on file to pay at checkout. At checkout, we accept debit or credit cards, cash, Venmo, or Cashapp for payment.

    2. Being unable or unwilling to pay for a service upon completion is considered Grand Larceny, a felony in the State of Oklahoma and is punishable with large fines and possible jail time. Payment using counterfeit bills is a federal felony. This is obviously not tolerated and we will contact the police if this situation is presented at out place of business.

    3. Do not book appointments if you are unsure that you will be able to afford the service cost.

    4. If we attempt to charge your card for a missed appointment or last minute cancellation and the card on file is not valid, declined, or expired, Client will be expected to update their card on file immediately and pay for this charge within 24 hours. If the client refuses to update their card and pay the outstanding balance, they will banned from booking any further services from our salon.


    COUPONS + DISCOUNTS

    1. Coupons will be honored up until the coupon expiration date. All coupons sent through email or otherwise will come with an expiration. Coupons will not be honored after expiration.

    2. Holiday or Special Discounting will be honored at the time of appointment that the discount specifies. It is up to the client to remind the artist at checkout that they have a pending discount that needs to be applied. Discount will only be applied and must be used within 30 days of initial announcement. If Client does not remind artist of their pending discount within 30 day period, the discount is forfeited and will not be honored after 30 day cut-off.


    GIFT CARDS

    1. Gift cards may be purchased online or in store.

    2. Gifts Cards must be redeemed within the calendar year it was purchased.

    3. When booking online, please be sure to include that you are redeeming a gift card in booking notes.

    4. If you cancel or reschedule under 24 hours before appointment, or no-show the appointment of which redeeming the gift card, you are forfeiting the gift card. The gift card will no longer hold value. You will have to pay in full your next scheduled appointment.
